Mini Lop Rabbits

Mini Lops are our primary breed. We are focusing on developing a strong line of mini lops with excellent personalities in the diluted colors of opal and blue chinchilla and of course the very strong agouti.

We feel mini lops are one of the best bunnies (rabbits) for beginners and for pets.  They are sweet, smart, calm and easy to work with.  The things to look for in a mini lop rabbit are: body type -- should be full and rounded with a broad head and ear base/crown.  Fur should be dense and rich in texture.  Mini lops go through a "gawky" ugly teen-age stage, but luckily they do out grow this! They are smart and quick to learn. The mini lop rabbit ideal weight should be about 5-6 pounds and mini lops come in an assortment of colors and patterns.

Mini Lop Fast Facts

Velotta's Shoeless Joe
Registered Grand Champion
Color: Black Chestnut Agouti

Sire: Velotta's Hunter (RGC 9 legs, 2 BI
S)
Dam: Velotta's Olivia (RGC 5 legs, 15 @ 2006 ML Nationals!)
Legs: 4 (Multiple BOB!)

He is a beautiful buck and will add great qualities to our herd.

EE's Houdini
Registered Grand Champion
Color: Opal

Sire: EE's Miami Moon (R, 1 leg)
Dam: EE's Miami Sun (R)
Legs: 4 (3 BOBs) 11th place at 2007 ARBA nationals in MI

Houdini is a very nice buck who I expect great things from. We were originally not going to keep him because of his poor color, but now he has gotten his senior coat he looks great!  He looks very much like his grandsire, EE's Andy (RGC, 8 legs)!

EE's Gilligan's Island
Color: Broken Black Chinchilla

Sire: CC's Mars (RGC, 3 legs)
Dam: EE's Olivia Benson (RGC, 3 legs)
Legs: 2

Gilligan Island  is another nice buck. There were only two bucks in his litter and he was the sweetest  by far. He will be a nice replacement for his dad and will start showing this fall.

EE's Lynyrd Skynyrd
Color: Blue Chinchilla

Sire: Velotta's Shoeless Joe (RGC, 4 legs)
Dam: EE's Felicity (R)
Legs: 2

Lynyrd is a nice buck. He has great width, but is lacking in depth to match. I have decided to keep him as I lost one of my Blue chin brood does to the heat and bad feed. He should match well some of the  deep does I have.

EE's Ultimate Fighter
Color: Black Chestnut Agouti

Sire: EE's Elliot Stabler (RGC, 6 legs)
Dam: Posey's Cobalt (R)

Ultimate Fighter is a very sweet buck and the only buck from Elliot. He may be shown later this fall.

EE's Vanishing Act
Color: Opal

Sire: EE's Houdini (RGC, 4 legs)
Dam: EE's Kentucky Rain (R)

Vanishing Act is the only kit out of Kentucky Rain. We lost both his mom and litter mates due to bad feed. He will not be shown much, but he will hit a few shows this fall.

Mini Lop Does

In Memory...Patches
Registered Grand Champion
Color: Broken Chestnut Agouti
Sire: CC's Jermey (RGC with 12 legs)
Dam: S & S Emma
Legs: 7 (Multiple BOB/BOSB!)

He has awesome type and flesh condition. He was our main herd buck and has sired quite a few litters. Out of those litters came G.C. EE's Andy and G.C.EE's Aqua, whom have mostly Best of Breed wins. His kids and grandkids are looking HOT. His kids have won 2 BIS, 2 RIS and multiple honorable mentions. He is greatly missed.
