Cinnamons are an American breed, developed in
Montana by Ellis Houseman and accepted into the
ARBA standards in Tacoma, WA in 1972. Cinnamons
are a commercial breed weighing in at about 8.5
to 11 pounds. They are a rich, russet brown
color - deep Cinnamon. Although not considered
"endangered", they are also a rarity in the
showroom. They are number 8 on the ARBA top 16
list of Rare Breeds!
Our original pair of Cinnamons have very
friendly personalities, with Wilma being quite
out-going. We have been very fortunate in
breeding. Wilma has successfully raised her
first litter of 7 and a second litter of 7 and
her last litter of 8!
